Kat wanted to make sure that she was safe and that they would find way for Kat to be sent free, but Sayde kept calling Zakiya selfish when she was a kid and knew that she killd Mjeuri to save her family, and it's bad enough her bitch mom Johari 'hates' her because she left, but Sayde kept reminding her that she killed her own father and it sent her off the deep end.

And I highly doubt Johari will grieve for Zakiya since she only cares for Mjeuri, she had no problem sending Kat to prison.
